The Town of Stratford is pleased to be hosting a welcome event for new Stratford Community residents on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 2:00 -4:00 pm at the Stratford Town Centre. Mayor David Dunphy would like to invite these new residents to a special event to welcome them to the community and to meet their new neighbours!
New residents will have a chance to get to know their Town Councillors, and to speak with representatives from various Town departments to learn about the Town of Stratford's programs and services. There will also be select local organizations on site with important information to share with new residents as they settle into their new community.
"As the Town of Stratford has continued to grow and thrive over the last few years, we have had the pleasure of welcoming many new residents from far and wide to our community. We look forward to helping our new neighbours make Stratford their home," says Mayor David Dunphy.
New residents are encouraged to bring their families, as there will be children's activities on-site. There will also be live music, door prizes, and refreshments and snacks. Limited on-site translation services may be available upon request, with advanced notice given.
The storm date for this event will be January 29, 2017 from 2:00 -4:00 pm.
