At a public meeting held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, Councillor Jody Jackson, Chair of Finance and Technology, presented the draft 2025/26 Town of Stratford budget.

Media Release: Stratford Town Council Meeting Summary (December 11, 2024)

Engaging residents and stakeholders in the decision-making process is an important part of our effort to build the best community possible. As we develop our 2024-25 budget we want to know your opinions on our spending priorities.

The travelling public is advised that with the Town of Stratford’s ‘Light Up The Night’ Santa Parade and Tree Lighting on Friday, November 29th heavier than usual traffic, along with delays and road closures, are expected south of the Trans Canada Highway in Stratford.

The Town of Stratford released the results of its 13th Annual Resident Survey. Residents were asked to share their opinions on topics including health and wellness, increasing resource efficiency, safety in the community, perceptions of the local police force, town initiatives, Shape Stratford, spending and taxation, and town performance.

The Town of Stratford announced the first funder for the Stratford Community Campus. Provincial Credit Union are providing a donation to be used towards the Stratford Youth Centre space and will include naming rights for the space upon its completion.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Town of Stratford today unveiled a new addition to Veterans Memorial Green with a special tree planting. The seedling, planted with help from grade two students of Stratford’s Glen Stewart Primary School, is a descendant of an English Oak tree fallen at Vimy Ridge during the battle in World War I.
