The Town of Stratford is proud to announce the launch of its performance reporting platform, Results Matter, as a significant milestone in its commitment to transparency, accountability, and community engagement.
“This platform aims to empower residents, stakeholders, and decision-makers with valuable insights into the Town’s progress and achievements,” said Steve Ogden, Town of Stratford Mayor. “Through this website, residents can track progress of various Town projects and initiatives annually and access detailed data across several key areas.”
The Results Matter platform, along with the adoption of the Open Government Bylaw in 2019, reflects the Town of Stratford’s commitment to open governance and transparency, ensuring that data produced by the Town or for its benefit is accessible to all.
“Results Matter is more than a reporting tool; it represents a strategic approach to sustainable governance. The platform feeds from the Strategic Performance Management Plan, which reconciles the Town’s long-term sustainability vision with high-level policy direction, ensuring that the broader impact of decisions and actions are considered in the Town’s planning and decision-making,” says Jody Jackson, Town of Stratford Councillor and Vice-Chair of the Intergovernmental Affairs and Accountability Committee. “This plan consists of 15 overarching objectives across four sustainability perspectives, with each objective linked to several key performance indicators (KPIs) measuring the Town’s performance.”
Residents are welcome to visit the Results Matter website, accessible through www.townofstratford.ca and engage with the data in accordance with the Government of Canada Open Government License.
