Rules

General Guidelines:

  • Safety First — Obey all social distancing and other health measures. 
  • At no time will damage or trespass to either commercial or private residences be permitted.
  • Deadlines and special dates for the event: 
  • Week 1: Deadline, all clue entries are due October 25, 2020 at 5pm ADT to be entered into the contest.
  • Week 2: Winners from the first week of the contest will be announced by October 30, 2020 at 5pm ADT. During the week, social media posts will reveal each of the businesses.
  • Week 3: Deadline, all clue entries are due November 8, 2020 at 5pm ADT to be entered into the contest.
  • Week 4: Winners from the third week of the contest will be announced by November 13, 2020 at 5pm ADT. During the week, social media posts will reveal each of the businesses.

  • Week 7: Deadline, all clue entries are due December 6, 2020 at 5pm ADT to be entered into the contest.
  • Week 8: Winners from the seventh week of the contest will be announced by December 11, 2020 at 5pm ADT. During the week, social media posts will reveal each of the businesses.
  • This contest is partially held on social media platforms (Twitter and Facebook), all standard contest guidance rules are to be followed for all associated social media platforms and channels. For rules regarding these platforms, please refer to their FAQ sections, respectively.

Eligibility: This Contest is open to all residents of Prince Edward Island, who have reached the age of majority or have the consent of their legal guardian.

How to Participate:

  • For each business day of Week 1, 3, 5 and 7, we will share a post with clues to 5 local Stratford businesses for that week. Each day the clues will get slightly easier. A PDF document with that week’s clues will be available on the webpage for downloading by Friday after 5pm ADT of that week.
  • Only responses submitted through the web page's form, will be accepted as entries to the contest. 
  • You can complete and submit as many answers as you like, but only one correct answer per respondent is entered into the final draw.
Prize: All eligible entries will be entered into a draw for one of two Stratford Prize packs.

Odds of Winning: The odds of being selected depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

How to Claim Prize: When the draw has been made, all winners will be contacted using the information they have provided in the response forms found on the Town of Stratford’s website. Entrants’ personal information collected for the purpose of the Contest will only be used to administer the Contest. No commercial or other communications unrelated to the Contest will be sent to entrants unless they have otherwise agreed to receive such communications.
