Media Release: Town of Stratford and Local Businesses Launch New Think! Stratford Campaign

Stratford, PE -Today, the Town of Stratford launched an exciting new campaign that will celebrate all that the Town has to offer and encourage residents to think of Stratford first as they shop, play and explore.
The Think! Stratford campaign, is an initiative of the Town of Stratford in partnership with the local business community and will include an ongoing and engaging social marketing initiative. At the launch the Town unveiled the creative campaign, a new web page with local business profiles and a promotional video that educates residents about the impact supporting local has on the community.
"Our Town is full of hidden treasures, world class companies and recognized brands, yet many residents are not aware or don't stop to think, can I get this in Stratford?" commented David Dunphy, Mayor, Town of Stratford. "Through this campaign we want to celebrate and support our business owners, while encouraging residents to pause and think of Stratford as they plan their day."
The campaign launched today with the announcement of a Think! Stratford Week. The week will be a celebration of all that Stratford has to offer, including daily profiles of local business owners, a ‘Stratford Selfie' social media contest, and promotional content about the Town and its business community.
"As a business community we were excited when the Town brought us together to talk about a support local campaign," remarked Steve Collette, owner 3rd Degree Training. "It didn't take long for businesses to see the opportunity and come on board to participate."
The local business community is contributing to the campaign through special events such as open houses, special event fundraisers for local charities and in store specials and promotions.
"As part of this we want to not only make residents aware of our businesses, but also give back to the community and residents that already support us every day," commented Juliana MacEwen from Get Bobbled and Precision Document Services.
