Description

To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (March 21, 2026), the Town of Stratford is proud to partner with Immigrant & Refugee Services Association PEI and the City of Charlottetown, PE to launch a youth art contest.

PEI students ages 5 - 18 are invited to explore the question: “How can young people stand up to racism and build an inclusive community?” through any of these media:

• Poster/Visual Art (digital or traditional media)
• Photography (digital or film)
• Literary Art (poetry, short story, etc.)

Prizes will be awarded to the best submissions in each category!

Deadline to submit artwork: Thursday, March 19, 2026
