Welcome to Stratford
Councilor Diane Griffin and Mayor Kevin Jenkins present Stratford Elementary School Principal Derek McEwen with a cheque for $1,500 toward classroom library supplies. Griffin donated $500 and Stratford donated $1,000. Mayor Jenkins said " this donation marks the start of a new era in Stratford with our new elementary school and we look forward to working together in the future."

We encourage you to become involved in the debate about the future of this important link to Stratford's cultural heritage. Please contact the Prince Edward Island Museum and Heritage Foundation and or the provincial cabinet Minister responsible, Hon. Robert Vessey, and your local MLA Cynthia Dunsford to voice your concerns. The future of this property may be decided by the end of September.
Stratford's Sustainable Subdivision Design Policy and Bylaw is in draft form now, your comments and suggestions would be most welcome. Please review and send us your input or attend a public meeting to be held on Wednesday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m. too review and discuss, you are invited and are most welcome to attend.
