The following items were discussed at the regular monthly meeting of the Stratford Town Council held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 as well as at a Special Council meeting held on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Cross Roads Rural Community Fire Company Appointments

A resolution was approved appointing the Board of Directors to the Cross Roads Fire Company for 2024:
• Councillor Jody Jackson
• David Milligan (3rd year of 3 year term)
• Kathy Livingstone (3rd year of 3 year term)
• Mark Lanigan (2nd year of 3 year term)
• Carol-Anne Duffy (1st year of a 3 year term)
• Dave Swan (term extended to December 31, 2024)

Council Meeting Schedule

A resolution was approved confirming the dates and times for 2024 as 4:30pm on the second Wednesday of each month as the regular Town of Stratford Council Meeting schedule.

Special Permit Use Approved

At a Special Council Meeting held on Monday, January 22, 2024, a resolution was approved from an application from JustJoes Automotive to operate at 240 Mason Road, PID #819235.
