Financial Statements
The Town of Stratford also owns the Stratford Utility Corporation and the Stratford Business Park Corporation and the Town controls the Stratford Seniors Corporation which owns a CMHC funded seniors complex on Mutch Drive. The fiscal year of the Town and the Town entities is January 1 to December 31. The Town of Stratford follows public sector accounting standards and one of these requirements is that municipalities prepare consolidated financial statements as of the year ending December 31, 2008. As of December 31, 2007 the Town of Stratford has consolidated their statements which therefore include financial information for The Town of Stratford, Stratford Utility Corporation and the Stratford Business Park. The financial statements are below.

Town of Stratford Budgets
The annual operating and capital budgets for the Town of Stratford and for the Stratford Utility Corporation are approved by Council between January 1st and March 31st each year which determines what the priorities are for the year.
